Starter Makeup Kit for Beginners!

Hello! In this post, I will show you what every girl needs in their makeup bag!

There's a lot of products to choose from! It is confusing right? You don't know if you really need it or not. I remember back in the day, I am very confused on what to buy and I always end up buying things I really don't need and don't know how to use.

How many eye shadows do I need? blushes? foundations? concealers?

If you're a makeup enthusiast like me, you know that there's no such thing as too much makeup. Hahaha!

Ever Bilena BB Cream in Oriental, L'oreal Lucent Magique Foundation

1. BB Cream/Foundation. Choose a lightweight base for everyday wear. They are used to even out skin tone. I recommend the EB bb cream for oily/combo skin and the L'oreal foundation for normal/dry skin.

2. Concealer. This is my best friend. It hides every imperfection I have. Blemishes, dark spots, redness and even dark circles! I highly recommend the LA Girl Pro HD concealer, it's cheap and multi-functional. You can also use it as eye shadow primer.

3. Powder. It sets the makeup and prevents it from moving throughout the day. It can also be used for touch ups.

4. Bronzer. Use this to give back color on your face. Do you have that very pale face after applying your base makeup? This is the secret! Matte for contouring and shimmery for a luminous bronze effect.

5. Blush. This gives your face that glowing and blooming look.

6. Brow pencil. Your brows frame your face. It is important! Brows make or break your look!

7. Eye Shadow. You must have at least a matte black, matte cream, matte light brown, shimmery champagne. I recommend sticking to neutral shades like gold, brown, bronze etc.. I really recommend the Nichido Bare Basic palette, it has 4 neutral eye shadows and 2 blushes, it is also very cheap. I have a review and swatches of it! Click here to read. 8. Eyeliner. If you love dramatic looks, these are must haves.

9. Eyelash Curler and Mascara. These are totally must haves! They give you that fresh and awake look!

Nivea lip butter

10. Lip Balm. With or without makeup, this is a must have. It keeps your lips from cracking. Say NO to dry lips.

11. Lipsticks. Every girl must have a red, pink and nude lipstick! They complete your look.
